Greetings, Coaches:

We are looking forward to hosting the 2013 Middle School PAC-7 Championships. We will be prepared to begin running and field events at 4:30 pm on May 10. In order to be sure the meet is run and scored efficiently and effectively, we would appreciate any help you and your staff can provide. We think the most logical way to ensure this is to delegate the running of field events to individual teams. Please let us know ASAP what field event your staff would be willing to run. The Fairless staff will be running the FAT and backup handtime systems.

Entries will be submitted through Baumspage. The meet is titled "PAC-7 Jr High Championships" and the window is currently open and will close at 12:00 pm (noon) on May 9.

The meet will be scored with eight places, 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.

There will be prelims and finals in the running events. The top 8 times will qualify to finals. The order will be as follows:

100 Hurdles
100
200
10 minute break

Field events will run as follows:

Shot put: 3 throws, boys then girls; finals to follow, 3 throws
Discus: 3 throws, girls then boys; finals to follow, 3 throws
Long jump: 3 jumps, 1 hour 30 minutes boys and girls open pit; finals to follow, 3 jumps
High jump: girls then boys
Pole vault: boys then girls
